Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) uses specialized dressings to seal wounds and applies a vacuum to aid healing. The controlled negative pressure draws out wound fluids, increasing blood flow and promoting healing. PVA foam dressings can be cut to fit the size of a wound, fill a cavity, and sealed with a transparent film connected to a vacuum pump.
